My sons and I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, today. I can’t say enough about this movie. I was totally blown away by it. It’s a fantasy that totally takes itself seriously, and pulls it off so remarkably well. Fantastic film. I’m not sure I can recommend it to children under the age of five. My youngest son is six years old, and I believe he was able to follow it.
Of course, it goes without saying that both loved the battle sequence. However, I was quite impressed the answer to my obligatory question of “What was your favorite part” given to me by my youngest. He said the best part is when the children are crowned kings and queens (I hope I’m not giving too much away, there). I thought for sure he’d say the battle, but that was not the case. It goes without saying that was my nine-year-old’s favorite part, though.
And Aslan totally rocks!
