Just so you know, I’m playing around with a new system. SchadeBlog, if all goes well, will soon be utilizing a system called WordPress. It’s an Open Source blogging and publishing software package that allows you to host your own blog on your own server or a service that supports the minimum requirements for the software. My goal is to get away from having to use Blogger for my publishing, and allow me to manage everything myself - including comments.
Not that I believe there’s anything wrong with Blogger. On the contrary, I think it’s a great package. But I just want to have ultimate control over my site as well as have everything self-contained.
If all goes well, SchadeBlog should be up and running on this new software within the next 24 hours. We’ll see how it goes.
