The first time I was introduced to HNT was through a friend of mine. He and I both agreed at the time it would be great opportunity to generate traffic to our individual sites. So we read the guidelines and set about putting up our first HNT images. But there’s just one issue. See, I can’t just do standard fair stuff. I don’t want to give what everyone else is giving. I want to do something different. Something that expresses my creativity and produces fun images. These images aren’t supposed to be deep, or meaningful, or particularly artsy. Their simply supposed to be fun. If you read anything more into that, then you’re making more work for yourself than you need to.
So I put up my first HNT, which was hardly half-nekkid in any respect, but it easily satisfied my desire to be different.
The image was a pretty big hit, and I started receiving some actual traffic on my site at that point. But I also set up a precedent for myself. It was apparent to me that, for my sake, I’d have to keep doing these photochops. So I did. I found a new hobby. I’d always wanted to learn how to do photo manipulations, and now I had a reason to pursue that hobby. So I am grateful to HNT for giving me a point to making these photos. I’m still nowhere near where I want to be as far as the quality of my work, but I’ve been getting better.
So now, as we celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the inception of HNT, I gathered together 500 of my closest friends and rented out an amusement park. Contractually I’m not allowed to say which amusement park it is, mainly because I’m not sure which one it is. So just to make it easy, let’s call it SchadeWorld. At any rate, we all got together to celebrate HNT’s first anniversary. Here’s a photo of the night’s activities. All you HNTer’s are in there somewhere, I’m sure.

That is so cool. The first one you should use on merchandise. It is really cool.
We all had a good time last night, didn’t we? The fireworks were spectacular. Os got so wasted. It was cool that Sam brought her snake, her cat and her guinea pig since they have all made appearances in her HNT photos. She did look sort of weird carrying them around all night. Like a pirate who forgot that you were supposed to have a parrot.
