This week I got a new toy. Two, actually, but this one is fully powered. The other one is a spray texture gun, which I am using to apply acoustic texture to the repaired ceiling I've been working on for the past two weeks. I can honestly say that I hate - hate mind you - acoustic ceiling texture. Whoever invented it should be dragged through mud, shot, drawn and quartered, hung, and forced to listen to the new Paris Hilton song. This stuff is nasty, stupid, and incredibly messy. I can't understand why anyone in their right might would want it. I don't want it, but it's a lot easier to try and spray on the new stuff than go through the entire house and remove it all. That's a project for another day.
Anyway, the subject of tonight's HNT is the new 8 amp Craftsman reciprocating saw I am posed so menacingly with. Notice how much more manly I look holding it with a toolbelt strapped around my waist. The lack of a smile also increases the machismo of this shot. On top of that, I have a cordless powerdrill in my holster. What more could you want? This photo is oozing so much testosterone you probably should make sure your keyboards are protected so as not to get any on them. The best part is, it's all real. Not a single thing photoshopped here, folks. It's all me…all man. Sometimes I amaze even myself.

Oh man, Schade, I just got my cottage cheese ceiling painted after begging my landlord for 5 years to do it…..it is so ugly, I hate it, and I totally agree with you…….but now, at least my ceiling is white! As for power tools, AR AR AR! I love tools, I love to build stuff, can I come over and help?
