A couple of weeks ago, I posted an image of me with Ponch and John. That image was a promotional still image, which didn't really do much to prove that I was actually in an episode with them. So, after much scrounging and Photoshopping, I finally found an actual still from one of the scenes I was in. I promise, this is an actual production still from an episode of the show. And I promise that I have not done anything to the photo to alter it in any way, shape, or form except to insert myself into the shot. Here, you can see me portraying the character Smiley. The scene is where I, being the loyal if not completely underappreciated sidekick that I am, have just pointed out to Ponch and John two completely hot babes on the beach who are completely alone and without dates and happen to be dressed in exceptionally revealing bikinis. The reactions are the result of me proudly telling them that I just landed dates with both women. I think this may have been the start of what ultimately lead to me being dumped by the show.
I think they ended up reshooting the scene altogether, making a few changes as a result. It ultimately became a scene where the two hot babes were driving the obligatory souped up sports convertible and the breaks had gone out, so Ponch and John came to their rescue. This led to the women being featured much longer in the episode than they normally would have been, which led to them getting paid more money. So I guess it worked out okay for the actresses involved.
I still think the scene worked better with me in it, but oh well. I didn't want to work for them anyway.
