SchadeBLOG

Getting my iPod has proven to be more of a distraction than I thought.  Including making me forget to check on the day when SchadeBLOG had its 10,000th visitor.  That's right, we've officially now had over 10,000 unique visits since I started tracking back in Sept. 2005.  Here's the details.

Some interesting facts about this visitor:

1. This person lives in Calgary, Canada.
2. This person used Google Blog search to search on HNT.  If you run that exact search on Google now, SchadeBLOG isn't even on the first 10 pages.  What is this world coming to when SchadeBLOG isn't even on page one of the search pages anymore?  Something must be done.
3. This person was browsing from a server-class operating system, and not a workstation such as Windows XP.  I don't know about you, but I tend to not use a server OS for my browsing needs.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.
4. This person became the 10,000th viewer of SchadeBLOG on Nov. 22, 2006 at 8:01:10 AM Arizona time (GMT-7).

Congratulations to this person!  And thank you to everyone who actually enjoys reading this blog.  I'm not sure how many of you are really out there, but there's enough of you that I feel compelled to keep it going.  I know I have a lot of lurkers, and I encourage you to eventually speak up and let me know who you are.

I plan to keep writing, so stay tuned as I steer this blog back on course towards its original intent.
